Set in a tiny farming village bordering the fae-infested woods, Fable is a story about a human farmer named Hue and his half-fae daughter, Fable. The death of Fable's mother was enough to turn the professional relationship between the woodland fae and their human neighbors sour. Now, the farming village is facing mass crop death, drought, and soil infertility. Neighboring villages have refused to trade resources, knowing the farmers have nothing to give-- and Hue, the head of the village, is the only human alive who knows that it's all his fault.

Inspired by chemical-plant-culture here in southern Louisiana and the not-so-funny jokes my hometown friends and I used to make about feeling like "they" were trying to feed us into a system, Jolly Chem is a story about a young woman and her even younger brother trying to escape a small town which has essentially sold its health, time, and youth to the local chemical company.

Cursed Crew
As a crew of sea serpent hunters lands the killing blow on a kraken, their entire ship is smashed in half and downed. Slowly, though, each crewmate wakes up. The ship is seemingly fine-- the same can't be said for the hunters. They say simply finding a dead kraken is a grave omen. The crew soon finds out what happens when a kraken is killed.

Targon is one of my favorite regions in Runeterra, and moon flowers are my favorite thing in general!
Building on Lunari aesthetics and themes, I took inspiration from pre-established associations between the Lunari and flowers (noctum, duskpetals) to conceptualize this character.

Water Damage (Spring 2024)
A cafe owner says goodbye to her in-shop coffee sprites as she closes for the night. Within moments of her leaving, the integrity of the mostly-wood interior of the cafe is threatened by a group of water sprites. A heartbreak from the past has left the head of the coffee sprites bitter and the head of the water sprites desperate. From this, war erupts-- sparking a Romeo and Juliet-esce love story to unfold between two younger sprites from opposing sides.
Missing Mars (Fall 2023)
A couple searches the house for their young daughter, Mars, who has a strange, and somewhat concerning, habit of forcing her parents into games of hide-and-seek.
Matchmakers (Spring 2025)
Petra is a gorgon who just can't help but gossip. Despite having a group of friends, it's only natural that her best friends are the ones she's most attached to (literally). Her habit of spilling anyone and everyone's personal information to her snakes comes back to bite her when they send a message Petra never even meant to type.
